Charlton Kings Cricket Club, located on the outskirts of Cheltenham, is a welcoming community-focused club with a strong commitment to cricket development. Recognized as an ECB Focus Club, we serve as a hub for local cricket, particularly for the development of children and young people. Our ClubMark accreditation reflects our dedication to best practices, ensuring a safe, effective, and child-friendly environment for all players.
The senior section of Charlton Kings Cricket Club fields 4 men’s teams on Saturdays, 2 Midweek League teams, and a women’s softball team.
Men's senior training: Thursdays at 6pm
Women's training: Wednesdays at 6pm
In 2021, our 1st XI won Gloucestershire Division 1 and now competes in the WEPL Gloucestershire League. Our 1st XI also claimed the Gloucestershire Men’s County Trophy in 2015 and 2019. The Women’s XI has been incredibly successful, winning the Cotswold District Cricket Association's Women’s League in 2018, 2019, and 2021.
Our thriving youth section includes teams for U9, U11, U13, and U15, as well as girls-only teams at U11, U13, and U15. We take great pride in nurturing young talent, with many of our juniors progressing to play in the senior teams.
